The story of our namesake King Lír and his clann (family)
has everything a good Irish story should: Love, tragedy,
hope and faith.

Our story will take you from the peninsula in Carrowtigue in
the north of Erris all the way to the island of Inisglora off the
west coast of Erris, next stop the Lands of Summer.
This tale encompasses the end of the mythical world of the
Tuatha De Danann and the start of Christianity in Ireland and the arrival of St. Patrick. Bring in your maps to the bar and we will show you the best viewing spots of the fabled islands, sit here a while and you might hear the famous songs of the children of Lír.
